This space themed wh- question resource contains 6 different space themed scenery images accompanied with two different types of recording sheets/questions. Each scenery image comes with: ♦ non-verbal question/recording cards ♦ verbal question/recording cards to suit individual student needs. The question/recording cards also come with space to record two different dates to track student progress. The wh- questions are; who, what, where. 10 questions included for each scene = 60 questions in total. A great way to improve student understanding, attention to detail and question/answering techniques. This resources comes in col option only - no b/w option.

This resource contains 7 different, short story, sequencing jigsaws. Students simply read the short story then use the information that they have read to figure out which order to place the image into the jigsaw. All the jigsaws comes in b/w option and col option for your preference. The stories are; ★ I jump out of bed and rush to my daddy, “Happy Father’s Day!” I shout. I jump onto his bed and hand him the mug that I bought him. On the bottom of his bed I hang the bunting of ties that I made. Daddy says he loves them, he picks me up into the air and puts me on his shoulders! ★ Me and my friends are talking about what we love about our dads. I love it when my dad carries me on his shoulders, Dave loves when his dad cooks a bbq. Alicia loves when she can just spend time with her dad, and Alice loves watching her dad rock her baby sister to sleep. ★ Today I’m at a pool party. When I arrive, I run straight for the water slide, and slide all the way down! I can see Dave holding some water bombs, then he throws a green one at me, splashing all over me. I hurry and pick up a red water bomb to throw back. ★ Me and my grandma have been making a summer to do list. First, we are going to go camping. Then, we are going to drive all the way down to the beach so I can go surfing! Then, finally, we are going to go to a hotel and relax in the sun. ★ My teacher asked me to name 4 things that remind me of Summer. I said the ocean is 1st, because we always go to the beach in the Summer. Then, a crab, because we try to find them at the beach. Then, there’s ice cream - the best cold treat! And, finally, of course, the sun! ★ It’s the first day of Summer, so dad is cooking us a bbq. First, I have to put the table cloth on our table, then dad starts to put food on the bbq to cook. I put on a special apron and hat so that I can be dad’s assistant chef. Finally, once the food is all cooked, I get to eat a cheeseburger! ★ We’re going to the beach today! Mom says I have to look for the beach sign, then we know we have arrived! When we arrive, I look up to see the sun shining, it’s very bright and hot! Mom puts an umbrella in the sand so we have some shade. Then, she helps to bury me under all the sand!

Mom says for us to put our stuff next to the palm tree so we can find it easier. First, I run to the giant octopus who shoots water out. Then, I go down the giant slide. Finally, before we go home, I have a shower. ★ We are having a water fight today, so I’ve filled a bucket with water bombs. First, I pick up a green water bomb, then throw it at my friend, it hits him and explodes on his chest. He throws an orange water bomb back at me, so I try to run away from it! ★ Today, we are going to the beach. When we arrive, I sit on the sand, playing with my baby brother, but then he starts to eat it! I can see my brother looking in the rock pools for different animals, I go over to see him, and he shows me a crab that he’s found! ★ We are going to the surf shop today! There are so many nice surf boards, but finally I choose an orange one. Once we are finished, the sun is still shining, so mom takes me down to the beach and I get to surf on my new board in the sea for a little while. ★ Today is my first day at Monster School, when we get into class, the teacher gives us all a pencil each, then tells us to sit at our desks and write our names on a piece of paper. Once we have finished writing, we get to ready some books. For snack time, I choose a red apple. ★ My new teacher walks into class, he wears square glasses and has yellow hair. He tells us that today, we have a lot of work to do. First, we are going to read a story, then we are going to do some writing. Finally, before home time, we get to do some typing on the computers. ★ Our teacher stands at the front of the class with a giant chalkboard. We lay on the floor, watching her draw pictures for the alphabet. Next, the teacher reads us a story, afterwards, we work in pairs to re-write the parts of the story we liked best.

I run downstairs to find our rake, then head outside. I rake up all the leaves that have fallen off the tree into a pile, then put them into a big, black bag. ★ Today we are learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin. First, you have to plant a pumpkin seed, over the next few weeks the seed will start to grow and sprout, before long you can start to see the start of a green pumpkin growing, then a while later the pumpkin turns orange! ★ Today I’m carving my first pumpkin. First, I use a pen to mark the design of my pumpkin, Next, I use a knife to cut off the top of the pumpkin. Then, I empty all the seeds out from the middle of the pumpkin. Last, I start to cut out the design on the front of the pumpkin. ★ Today is Halloween and we’re going to a costume party! I put on my black cat costume and head to the party. The first person I see is Jack, he is dressed up as Frankenstein! Then, we see Peter who is dressed up as a pumpkin! Finally, I see my best friend Annie, who is dressed up as a witch! ★ Today is Halloween, me and my sister have been carving a pumpkin ready to put in our window. Once we have finished, I dress up as dracula and we go trick or treating. When it gets dark, I thought I saw a witch flying past on her broomstick, then a black cat ran past us, chasing the witch! I blink, wondering if it was a dream. ★ Today, we are going to visit a haunted house. When we open the door we hear rustling and we scream as a bat flies over our heads, out into the dark. We have a look around the house and find a coffin, as we open it, a mummy jumps out of it and chases us! When we stop, it’s my older brother, Jason, teasing us! ★ Me and my friend are going ghost hunting in the woods! The woods are very dark, and lots of the trees have lost all of their leaves so they look bare and scary. Behind a tree I can see some spooky eyes looking at us, when we get closer, out jumps a giggly ghost in a witch’s hat!
